Mike Cluett has been a resident of Milton for over 15 years. He has served Milton both as local and regional councillor since 2010 and in 2018 was overwhelmingly re-elected by over 81% of the residents in Ward 3.
Along with his wife Pat and their two children Anthony and Miranda, they enjoy the friendly atmosphere, downtown core and local events which define this great community.
As an active member of the Milton community, Mike Cluett is a long time volunteer for the United Way of Halton & Hamilton, a board member for Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC), organizes the annual Hope In High Heels event for Halton Womens Place and volunteers actively for the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (Miracle on Main St)
As a member of Milton Town Council, he has been an advocate for accountability and the delivery of efficient, cost-effective services. He is known for being informed, engaged and always accessible to residents.
Mike Cluett is currently a member of many committees representing Milton Town Council & Halton Region Council including the Golden Horseshoe Food and Farming Alliance, Waste Management Site Advisory Committee, Conservation Halton and is the Chair of the MEDAC - Milton Economic Development Advisory Committee.
He currently sits on the Planning & Development Standing Committee at Halton Region.
Ward 3 (South East) Milton is comprised of the area south of Derry Road, east of Ontario Street, west of the 407 and north of Lower Base Line.
